Workshop 4: Model It!
Week 2
This week we were learning about process modeling again. However this week task we were asked to make a simple house (fig 1) and then from that house make 4 more houses that had the same section as the first house which for me were fig 2 then 3 then 4. This really made me understand the importance of process modeling as it showed me that you can do anything you like and that can be a design. Unique shapes and interior spaces are generated from process modeling. For me it was a fun but challenging exercise. fig 4 was the last process model that was created from the model fig 1.
The take home task was making a presentation model of the site of fisher house by Louis Kahn at a scale of 1:200.

Workshop 4: Model It!
Week 1
This week we were asked to build two very simple houses separately then join them together in a clever way. This was part of process modeling which i found to be very useful as it opened me up to think more creatively in terms of designing.
Our take home task was to build a presentation model of Ando's "Church of Light" at a scale of 1:200. This was very challenging as we had to be very precises with our model and detail.
