Week 3
For week 3 we were asked to make a detailed model of only the window chair part of the fisher house by louis kahn. This was a very worth while exercise as we were asked to think how to use our material appropriately to represent the different materials in the house (i.e orientation of the grains on the balsa wood). This was a very difficult exercise as this was a detail modeling exercise so precision was the key and steady hands. However my model was broken due to unfortunate circumstances and i was not able to have photographic documentation of my work.
